Into the Wild

I don't know how it snuck up on me without me knowing, but one of my favorite books "Into the Wild" is going to be a major motion picture released September 21st. Written and directed by Sean Penn, based on the book by Jon Krakauer, about the true story of Chris McCandless, one of my personal heros after reading the book. The book was amazing, I'm scared to reread it because I think I might quite my job.

The reviews are coming in as very good from early movie-goers and I can not wait to see it. I'm think a midnight showing might be in order if its available. On another note the soundtrack was done by none other than Eddie Vedder.

Anything with a soundtrack by Eddie Vedder has way more going for it then most other stuff out there...

I'm down for seeing it at not midnight(hint)

Man, that was close! I almost read a book! Thankfully, the movie will come just in time to rescue me from having to read. Reading, it's a passing fad.

If you fly into VA tonight, you can see a sneak preview at the Arlington Cinema and Drafthouse. Plus, Emile Hirsch is going to be there in person. You in?
